Mineral Definition follow-up

There is an article by Nickel and Grice in the May-June 1999 Mineralogical
Record , "The IMA Commission on New Minerals and Mineral Names: Procedures
and guidelines on mineral nomenclature" that gives a definition and areas of
concern in naming and classifying minerals. You might want to do a search to
see if there is a current or updated rules on the web.  Hope this helps,
