I have completed a compilation on GIS of all known Alaska mineral occurrences, mines, and prospects, which our exploration company has used, and which we are now making available to the public. The CD also has all state and federal mining claims, access, current and 'ghost' towns, parks and other closed or restricted areas, general geology, and many other useful features like that. I've also finished the first new fieldguide to Alaska rocks and minerals in a decade or more. I apologize to anyone who feels this message may be spammy, but not many people know about these valuable resources (especially since I only released them a month ago). Anyway, the link is here http://alaska-freegold.com/fieldguide_gis.html Dennis -- http://alaska-freegold.com
