Then there is the hubris in their political articles/news interviews. They castigate politicians for spin doctoring but only allow them a fraction of a minute to get across a sound bite. They then edit the questions to suit their agenda. This allows them to edit interviews down to one sentence. Not that I suppose the Great British public want to hear more from their leaders. The news is just a cheap show with the bonus that it is still counted as news despite being taped and replayed at half hourly intervals for hours on end. The case is similar for their science programmes: You can find some science programme transcripts on their website.
