What's up near King Beach, Ca?

A look at the California data shows what can only be called a SWARM of small
quakes and microquakes occurring a couple of miles WSW of Kings Beach,
California, on the NW shore of Lake Tahoe. 

What do any of you suppose is going on, there? 

This is near the only outlet the lake has, the point where the Trukee River
originates and flows down from Lake Tahoe, which is around 6,200 ft, down about
seventeen hundred feet of elevation to the Reno area, and on into Pyramid Lake
to the north.
