Ideally these will be at teh antenna, but 36 feet of RG6 makes little difference ... and right at teh TV set is better than nothing, since TV sets have simply awful tuners these days. Next, make a list of all the stations you want can call each one and ASK whether they are transmitting a digital signal at FULL POWER and FULL ANTENNA height. If they are, or if even a fraction are, then get a Samsung T-351 digital set top box. You will then get perfect pictures where analog was extremely snowy. If they are not full power and height, you need to actually be able to see the tower to get them. I have one totally unwatchable signal from 67 miles away that comes in perfectly reliably and of course with a perfect picture using their digital signal. Doug McDonald
