I've never had my hands on one, but IMO, I wouldn't trust my vacation video to DVD disk, let alone a commercial project that I was getting paid for. I've wasted many CD-ROM to a buffer over/underflow, and I've rented several DVDs that wouldn't play right due to a small scratch.
