My elements are pointing the proper direction, though.  

Even if they weren't, the way I zeroed in on the channels was to turn
to the channel and start the rotor turning.  I did a 360 on each
channel and wrote down where the picture was best so I could label the
rotor, so even if I pointed it the wrong way, I'd have eventually
stumbled across it.
