i'll bite, what are you talking about?
is this something specific to the Channel Master
antenna that he's got?
i've got a modest Radio Shack VU-120XR antenna
and the only "slanted" elements are the main boom
long elements, and the 2 wing booms themselves
(the short elements on the wing booms are straight
and perpendicular to the transmitting antenna)
the 4 page instruction sheet/pic shows both the
main boom long elements and the 2 wing booms
pointing toward the station's transmitting antenna
