Is there a data base anywhere that will give me the location of
commercial broadcast transmitting antennas and possibly the azmuthal
beam shaping employed.
I'm located 75 feet from the coast of Maine at en elevation of 45 feet
and have great difficulty receiving Portland, ME network broadcasts. I
suspect that the problem is due to geologic and vegetative shielding,
and if employed, beam shaping that doesn't favor "wasting" energy by
transmitting out over the Atlantic.
I'd like to place the transmitting locations and my home on a topo map
and see where the problem is.
