TV Recommendation, Please

Please excuse my complete lack of professional knowledge, but I
thought this board might be a good place to get informed opinions
about buying a new television set. I want a 20 or 21 inch, flat
screen, good stereo sound quality and good picture quality, of course.
No picture in a picture or similar frills.

I'm looking seriously at Panasonic, Samsung or Toshiba. Concerning
quality, dependability and longevity, I'd be grateful for opinions
about the sets these companies make, as well as any others I should
consider.
