Hopefully this isn't too far off topic. I have a Sony 48" rear projection KP-46C65 TV, it is outside of its two year warranty (of course) and the other day it started doing something weird. The left and right sides of the screen look like the convergence is way off, however anything in the middle 30% of the screen is ok. The effected areas look like an old 3D movie without the 3D glasses, if you know what I mean. I can't think of any other way of describing it other than you basically see an offset image of the show in red. I tried to adjust it in the menu but it won't allow me to make it better, only worse. Any suggestions would be extremely welcome. I am fairly technical on the computer side so opening it up doesn't scare me, I would just need to know what I am looking at. I assume that the TV has a centralized FRU and an process for re-aligning the lamps? Please correct me if I am mistaken. TIA
