Radiation effects

Don't worry about radiation.   The US military industry will suck
congress for money until we have ourselves a full scale nuclear war,
which will likely happen
 within a decade or so by my estimation.  At that point, your monitor
(if you can power it up somehow) will not seem so threatening.

Ionizing radiation is from UVa (light) through the higher frequencies.

Everything below light in frequency can be though of as relatively
safe.

The odds of dying from a car accident, nuclear war, or flag decal
fumes is probably greater than your monitor.
