Bush tv problem - any ideas?

Hi,

Yesterday I came home and found my 3-4 year old Bush Widescreen tv doesn't
switch on anymore.  After a random number of tries with the power button,
the power led will come on for about a second then go off again.

I also tried putting a different fuse in the plug.  The original was 5A but
all I had was a 3A and it still didn't work.  Would a different fuse make
any difference?

Is my tv dead?
