Some units have already shipped but according to a recent post I saw
on comp.sys.hp48, there has already been a product recall of the 48GII
and HP won't have replacement units available until Jan '04.  Sigh.

Indeed, according to the site http://www.hpcalcman.com, "The 42S is
quite hard to obtain, and the popularity ... has made them worth more
than they originally cost new."

Used cost more than new?!? Wow.  Almost seems like there is a business
opportunity there somewhere.  I've noticed on eBay that these used
units are not selling cheap.
