metal stock

I live in Houston (Texas) and need to find a place to buy
metal to use in welding. I have no idea where to get metal
stock other than the high priced stuff in places like Home
Depot.

Specifically, and tips on where to find large sheets of say 1/8" sheet
metal, pipe, etc. What section of the Yellow Pages do I go to?

My local welding supply company is worthless.
