Actually ...Garret Industries(Air research) did quite a number of
studies involving
Aircraft...Civilian and Military...Big and Small.. that covers this
topic. An Environmental
research Engineer did ths project... Edward A Bill. Part of the study
did entail cyclicals.
Does that fit your circle jerk patterns? As for magical.. I have noted a
couple of

You point is not valid. The 2020 extravaganza of a moon sized meteor is 
predicted to remove any need for energy resources.
