The RGB connection on alot of the HDTV-ready displays should work. It does for me. Now you might have trouble getting 1:1 ratio (where you have your PC set to the exact same resolution as the fixed pixel displays (like you mentioned LCD, DLP, etc.), but you should be able to get a resolution that will work.
