Jim,

thanks for the post and for the recommendation of publications by J.Cohen.
I don´t know him because I´m working only since a few years in this field,
mainly based on common text books, discussions in the Web and practical
experiments (understanding color management).

Why is the purple line exactly straight ?
Why is the interpolation in the chromaticity diagram exactly linear ?
Are eye+brain working like computers, equipped with ideal instruments ?
