Swimming Pool Calculations

I have a simple swimming pool calculation for California and I want to know
how others are calculating the structural portions.

I think that the standard 4 inch concrete with # 3 rebar's on 12" OC could
be reduced, but maybe due to construction accuracy 4 inches remains.


M max = 1.025 Ft K   for rebar # 3

M = 1025/2=5 H ^3 power

Solving for H H= 4.65 Ft  hence max 4.5 ft or 4 ft if your not on site
fulltime.

If soil pressure is 30 # ft
