Re: misc.metric-system

This should be the final thing written about the metric system, its bunk.  The
USA is the most free nation in the world, with the greatest innovations in
history.  We are in a global war against terrorism, the whole world is out to
get the USA because they despise our freedoms and way of life.  The USA are
leaders in the fields of engineering, technology and medicine.  How did we get
this way? I assure you it was not because of the metric system.  So  as the
world roots for tyranny over freedom, just remember, that the USA is the worlds
lone superpower, guaranteer of freedoms, built on the back of English units.
