looking for climate data for a possible site for a chemical plant

I'm a final year student in chemical engineering. One of our final
duties is a design project for a chemical palnt.
I really need info on climate conditions in an area where some
chemical plants are already situated. It would be preferable for the
area to be in a developing country (due to economical considerations).
