        That's the audio OUT.

        Line In, most likely.  If not, you're rather out of luck in what you
want.

        But take heart - you can pick up machines that can do the raw audio
work for under 500USD easily nowadays.  (Well under if you shop around ..
I've seen complete systems for about 150USD used, with monitor and a
licensed copy of Win98SE.)
