Finding parts for this machine is only the half of it. Finding someone who can actually service it properly is also going to be a problem. The video head assemblies on those things were very complex, especially when you consider how those things achieved automatic tracking as a standard feature since the format was first introduced. You can try looking for the parts, but it won't hurt to hunt around for a replacement Video2000 machine as well. I would recommend that, when you do find a replacement machine or repair the VCR you have, you ought to consider making copies of your Video2000 recordings to a more mainstream format for archival purposes. - Reinhart
