Thanks for the follow-up. I must admit that my knowledge
about Latin square is meager. So allow me some questions
to you, since you seem to have done much work in the
field: The type of formulae of my original post gives
non-linear Latin sqaures, or do I err? Using small
Latin squares to generate larger ones in the way mentioned
by Terry Ritter is a certainly a good procedure, but does 
such generation include the ones described by the formulae, 
i.e the former forms a superset of the latter? (I don't
yet clearly see that.) Thanks in advance.
