The usual challenge: Which statement was a lie?

You mean, "dear god you're dim"? Is that what you consider "emotion"
or "anger"? I would consider it the verbal equivalent of an
exasperated sigh. If he were Jewish, it might be expressed as "oy".
I'm not Jewish, but I frequently use "oy vey" when nothing else quite
says it. Like here.

Oy vey.

Hint for you: exasperation is a common element of many Usenet
interactions, especially those dealing with cranks. You give yourself
too much credit when you talk about how angry you're making people.
People don't just insult to show emotion. They insult to be insulting.
