Arsenic kills just about anything, but it isn't the worst poison in
the world by any means. The lethal dose for a grown human is about 150
mg arsenious oxide.

I think you would find quite a few references in the agriculture
literature, especially in the older stuff. I'm not sure it's even used
anymore, mostly for public relations reasons.
