I'd hate to throw a wet blanket on your enthusiasm for
research, but if this is still about your rust removal
from vertical surfaces problem, at least two posters
have previously directed you to good old naval jelly. It's
very cheap and available in most paint and hardware stores,
even many discount ("5 and 10") stores.
