Hi Daniel,

Please read Section 9 of the Car and Deep Cycle Battery FAQ on
www.batteryfaq.org.  The key will be to match the Lester to Concorde's
recommended temperature compensated absoption voltage as measured with
an accurate (.5% or better) DC voltmeter.  Maybe one of the two
settings will provide that, but you will need to measure charger's
output to know for sure.  This is because SLA setting might be
adjusted for Gel Cell SLA charging voltages which are typically lower
than AGM and you will undercharge and  "conventional" might be to high
and you will overcharge.

I would recommend that you try to determine the "sweet spot" for your
new battery by looking at Concode's DoD vs. Life Cycles graph and
adjust your charging regiment according to get the best value (great
kilowatts) out of your battery.  I agree with you that floating is not
going to help much since you use your chair daily.
