I say "seemed" to have drained because I tried to switch it on one morning and nothing happened. When I plugged in the charger it behaved exactly as it did the first time I initially charged it a few weeks ago. Luckily I'd hotsynced just before this happened, but had problems restoring the versamail that came with it. So I'd make sure you always have a good backup at all times. I'm going to try and reproduce this scenario and it it happens again I'll be getting in touch with Palm, cheers Phil
