Chlorine Selective Cells

Hi all,
What all biological cells are selective towards to chlorine? Is there
any specific functional groups on substrate that is  universally
selective to all biological cells (e.g. hydroxyl, caboxyl, carbonyl,
etc.). Selective with reference to cell adhesion.
