WEll from how I see it and the increasing usage of whey protein
concentrate in the high protein fabricated foods; it implies that they
are absorbed in the body equally as the meat protein.Although I cannot
qoute a referrence source for that at the moment, but its self
explanatory.
Several years Before, whey was just was just a waste material in
cheese processing, now its an important raw material in food
processing.

I also happen to like wheat pita ,as its versatile to use if compared
to other breads.
But wheat protein is not nutritionally balanced in terms of essential
amino acids. If you want to improve the Protein efficiency rating you
should combine that with bean protein i. e tofu, pulses etc.
Therefore what ever you eat in terms of proteinaceous foods the bottom
line is if all the essential amino acids are present in sufficient
levels.
And whey protein being complete in amino acids like meat protein, ergo
its a good source of protein for nourishment.
