Would it be OK especially for a petiie female who > wants to hit the gym and build some muscle tone and strength via > weight training? The real question is what is the protein efficiency rating of whey protein in comparison to other forms of animal derived protein. Well its a known fact that milk protein had a higher PER values than plant protein. And the amino acid profiles is comparable with egg albumen protein which means that the essential amino acids are completere then whey presumably follow suit. I hope that this manufacturers of whey protein powder lives to its name as what they claim here. http://www.health-marketplace.com/Whey-Protein-Powder.htm You better ask your nutritionist about this matter as he can provide you with better qualified answer to the difference between whey protein vs other proteins. Regarding muscle build up you better consult a qualified sports nutritionist about it. Roy
