which saw for sectioning otoliths?

Can anyone recommend a saw for sectioning of fish otoliths? We are
currently looking at the saw from South Bay Technology
(http://www.southbaytech.com/cgi-bin/homepage/products/view_product.cfm?ProductID=103).
Do we need two wheels, or can we make two separate cuts with one wheel
to get a thin section? What kind of diamond wheels are best
(fine/medium/coarse, low/high concentration, thickness)?
