Re: First life form on earth

My idea is that I dont expect prokaryote to leave any evidence of their
existence as they leave no fossils having no hard body structure. Therefore
I speculate that their existence in Primordial life is just a theory unless
someone had broken open an Achaeon Rock and discover prokaryote there.

Also as we see, all life on earth today is based on the Carbon molecule.
But Primordial Earth had a very different atmosphere from today. Could
there have been another life form existed based on a very different
molecular form ( Silicon perhaps) that existed even before or even along
with prokaryote. But then they became extinct as Earth Atmospheric
condition changed and left no traces whatsoever.
