Herpetology is an interesting field!! Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to take any herpetology courses, but I have taken zoology and paleontology courses. If you are interested in herpetology, you might want to check out the Biological Sciences department website for the University of Alberta (http://www.biology.ualberta.ca). You should be able to find someone who is knowledgeable in that field. You can also try contacting the curator of herpetology at a museum nearby where you live - they should be able to give you some information on how to locate any kinds of articles that you are interested in.
