Yesterday, I found a caterpillar in my refigerator! I would have assumed that he came in on some produce, except that he was at the very top of the inside of the door, barely an inch from where the door would have squished him when closing. He wasn't moving, but I hoped he might not be dead yet, so I pried him loose and set him on the table. This morning, I checked and he's turned into a chrysalis. So a few questions: First, can anyone think of a situation that could have caused a caterpillar to go inside a refigerator? Secondly, he's bright green and somewhat knobbly with three legs up front. All in all, he's around 2 inches long and without much in the way of distiguishing characteristics and as a chrysalis he's kind of pointy. Can anyone hazard a guess at what he is? And thirdly, what are the odds that he'll survive if I hang him up inside a jar? Thanks, -Nordo
