In article <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, [EMAIL PROTECTED] says... :) Hi.., :) :) Last night I saw this creature crawl up my livingroom wall and I wonder if :) anyone can tell me what it is. :) :) It's a very small creature, about 5 milimeters in length an very hairy. I'm :) almost sure I counted six legs but the picture doesn't show them very :) clearly. :) :) I don't know if it is of any importance but I'm in the north of the :) Netherlands. :) :) http://home.tiscali.nl/t381811/watishet.html :) :) Marc :) It is the larvae of a dermistid beetle. Try looking up varied carpet beetle. Can be there from something as simple as pet dander/hair or can be doing damage to wool carpets or taxidermy mounts. -- http://home.comcast.net/~larflu/brodf1.jpg Lar.
