I agree it was a bad idea to bring the Asian Ladybeetles here in the first place, but there's nothing that can be done about that now. They have no natural predators in the US and Canada, yet. They proliferate because their food supply is great, and they as of yet do not have an opportunistic predator. If they become a recognized food source for something, their numbers will be reduced. I wonder if they're good with rice... The real problem might be their presence, but if they are ultimately destroyed, our new problem might be they have displaced, or driven to extinction, our several local species of ladybugs.
