Lep Soc. cantidate

This is let everyone know I am asking you to write in my name ( Ron
Gatrelle) as the Write-In Candidate on your Leps. Soc ballot for the
Executive Counsel.

I was a member of the Lep. Soc. Executive Counsel from 1977-1980.

I am a past president of the Southern Lepidopterist Society.

I am co-founder and President of The International Lepidopterist Survey a
taxa exempt non-profit with the same legal standing as all major museums
and research organizations.

I am 58, a Navy veteran (1967-1971),  SC board certified Prosthetic Dental
Technician and laboratory owner(retired), and an ordained minister in the
International Pentecostal Holiness denomination and full time pastor.  I am
a creationist, conservationist, taxonomist, entrepreneur, leader.

Why?

I want to do all I can to not only help historical Lepidopterists survive
the assault of anti-collecting anti-science movements, but see our
profession and avocation regain the honored place it once had.  If we do
not become more proactive on our own behalf, lepidopterists (especially
amateurs) will be the endangered species.  It is a poor frog that won't
croak in its own pond.  I croak well.
