FW: South Texas still Red Hot - Nov. 19

Pale-banded Crescent (Phyciodes tulcis) was also reported today from the
Valley Nature Center, Weslaco.

These locations are all in Hidalgo Co. (one county in from the coast along
the Rio Grande/Rio Bravo).

Subject: Flying in Mission 11/19--Mexican Silverspot, Pavon Emperor (5), Red
Rims, Curve-winged Metalmark

Thanks to Charlie Gifford, I managed to photograph a Mexican
Silverspot-Dione moneta at Jim Bookers' yard, today.

Thanks to Benton Basham we saw FIVE Pavon Emperors-Doxocopa pavon and I got
good photos at Anzalduas Co. Park, today.

We also had a male Curve-winged Metalmark-Emesis emesia at Jim Booker's and
3 Red Rims-Biblis hyperia, along with numerous Mexican Bluewings-Myscelia
ethusa and Malachites-Siproeta stelenes at Anzalduas.

Thanks, also, Dave Hanson and Gil Quintanilla for you help chasing bugs,
today.
