Perhaps we shouldn't plan upon on changing anything about the Venus
atmosphere. After all, it's thickness and density are affording a
great deal of radiation shielding (not much point in being cooler if
you're irradiated to death), and of the crystal clear ocean of mostly
CO2 is quite an ideal soup for any rigid airship.

With energy, there's CO2-->CO/O2 for managing all that "too much of
the stuff" you mention. Though evolved DNA/RNA should be doing just
fine and dandy, especially if their intelligence isn't in the toilet
like ours.

Thus recycling of the atmosphere of what's acquired on location,
there's a perfectly good solution that's been on the books for at
least a decade. Remember that under such pressure, that a fraction of
a percent of O2 is sufficient.

I do have another ongoing R&D for a lunar bus transporter solution,
sort of a metro lunar bus of basalt composites that'll protect your
butt from all of that nasty radiation that was oddly entirely missing
(a walk in the park) during all of those Apollo missions, as well as
from all those pesky 10+km/s meteorites;

Of the similar to the moon taboo has been the topic of "Other Life On
Venus" which started out with way too much detail for common folk
(perhaps even much like yourself), though I've managed to add
something other upon the subject of once we're there and getting
ourselves about within a good airship;
