The best places I've found on the net are the Yahoo Groups.

http://groups.yahoo.com/

Search on astronomy topics and manufacturers (Meade, Celestron) and
you'll find many.

Look for local and online associations as well in your area.

There are a few newsgroups with the obvious names as well.

Once you find a couple of sites the links will explode.
