Yes--I don't really understand what the supporting (observational and/or thy) evidence for the conclusions is but it is interesting. It seems as though they are trying to allude to some sort of cosmological generalized (if you buy superstring thy, extradimensional?) conservation law here...balancing gravitational and electromagnetic force energies? And what about the strong force (guess the weak force is subsumed by EM.) Interesting to ponder anyway. ...tonyC
