As several have said, yes.  The one I've seen most recently was 
Ofeq 5 (27434, 02-025A), which is still in orbit.  Its Shavit 
launch vehicle, which has reentered, was a very neat flasher.  
Israel has to launch to the west, over the sea.

Celestis and another satellite launched with it also went from 
east to west.

Where was it in the sky and what direction was it moving (i.e., 
rising in the east, going straight down in the west, right-to-left
in the north, etc.)?
