Baton Rouge Observatory Activities September 26-27

FRIDAY, September 26 
SPECIAL PRESENTATION...8:00 pm. Join Edward Shihadeh of LSU as he
presents the exciting and educational aspects of large-scale model
rocketry. 
TELESCOPE VIEWING...9:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Members of the Baton Rouge
Astronomical Society and LSU Astronomers support telescope viewing,
weather permitting. 

SATURDAY, September 27 
ALKA SELTZER ROCKETRY...10:00 am. Make a miniature rocket powered by
gases produced by foaming Alka-Seltzer tablets. Class time is 10:00 -
11:00 am. and is appropriate for children ages 7 and up.

Tuesday, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM 
Friday, 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM 
Saturday, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
