Mr. Lazar has extensive experience as both a science fair judge and mentor. Definitely a timely subject for students, teachers and parents but of interest to all. TELESCOPE VIEWING...9:00 - 10:00 pm. Telescope viewing, weather permitting, is supported by members of the Baton Rouge Astronomical Society and LSU Astronomers. SATURDAY, September 13 HYDRO ROCKET BUILDING CLASS...10:00 am. HYDRO ROCKET BUILDING CLASS...10:00 am. Join us in making a simple water rocket that actually flies. Learn about the principles of propulsion and aerodynamics. PLEASE BRING AN EMPTY TWENTY OUNCE SMOOTH SIDED PLASTIC SODA BOTTLE for this class. For children ages 7 and up. Class time is from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.
