I've had a SAC8 for a few months now. http://members.cox.net/bsliv/ I've heard rumors of K3CCDTools supporting long exposure for the SAC8, but not yet. If you select any resolution other than 320x240 in K3CCDTools, the software says resolution not supported. Astrovideo is the only program I know of to do long exposure with the SAC8. In Astrovideo, if long exposure is enabled, all output will be 640x480, hires checked or not. If hires is not checked, it acts like a binned mode (2x1) with twice the sensitivity. The SAC8 Yahoo group is great for information. Bill S. "Carsten A.
