>I think everyone deserves a fair chance. Shawn's antics might deserve >suspicion and concern on SAA, but they should not condemn him somewhere >else, particularly when it comes to a real world business. He's a model >citizen on several of the Yahoogroups I belong to (or moderate). But >that really isn't what's important. It's really more about how petty >and judgmental the person is who's doing the deciding... to those who >would not give him a fair chance and the benefit of the doubt, I think >that speaks volumes not about him but about you... > I think Shawn has shown here what he is capable of doing. Obviously in a moderated group he does behave himself. I am sure that were he to pull the same stuff he pulls here in a moderated group he would be long gone. However a member of astromart has greater responsiblities and liabilities than membership in a Yahoo group, a membership gains one entry into the marketplace. The stakes are considerably higher and other people's money is at risk. The guy has shown himself to be capable of rude, crude and devious behavior. So you can say what you want, but keeping Shawn out of Astromart implies basic good sense. I am glad you are able to moderate him, maybe he will realize acting in a mature responsible manner has its benefits. Best wishes Jon Isaacs
