This is one of those things that you really ought to see for yourself.  I have
both 10 and 12.5 inch DOBs.  The larger one definitely is brighter and has
better resolution.

But many times I choose the 10 inch scope because it is easier to handle and
still does a great job.  

What scope do you currently own?
