If there is a God, Hawking should thank Him for giving him a wonderful
mind and for making him wealthy via ABHoT. I certainly sympathize with
Hawking's affliction with ALS, but in the course of living in Southeast
Asia, the Middle East, and East Africa from 1966-1991, I saw so many
horribly afflicted people who had no fame, no wealth, no medical care,
no wheelchairs, nothing but a squalid and lonely death.

Hawking is also bitter because God hasn't given him a Nobel Prize.
